The Industry of Compositions

Step 1. Friday Night Girl Talk.
We enjoyed some laughs and cocktails with some of the friendliest servers at The Industry Bar . This is a new addition to S.Philly. located at 1401 E. Moyamensing Ave. Otherwise aka 3rd and Reed. A quaint corner spot that features outdoor seating with strung golden lights, a rustic interior with rich wood hues and brick red accent walls. The space is large, open and warm. The menu is filled with a variety of american and american fusion food. Cocktails are creatively concocted with off the norm ingredients such as; egg whites, Angostura bitters and more. We sipped on HawkeRich and Jackie Boy. A delicious beginning to several small plates we shared. I love sharing plates. This way your palette is quenced with several flavors in smaller portions. Variety baby!! Plates we shared; Brandade Croquettes, Buffalo Sweetbreads, Fried Green Tomatoes and The Industry Burger (double patty!). Each plate was artistically displayed and delicious! This was just enough food to fill and conquer those (could be deadly) cocktails. All in all the menu was packed with a selection of meats, cheeses, salads and more. The draught list was filled with superb brews. This new gem receives a 4.85 out of 5. As I previously spoke of ratings, I just cannot call one single place perfect. But this may be a new fav!

Step 2. Saturday Roundabout.
Rooftop views, cold beers and a Mad Decent block party. Friends, sunshine and laughter filled Saturday until the wee hours of Sunday AM. Along the way these views captured my eye.

Step 3. Filtering Hues.
And if you have been following recently, you have noticed I am continuing to play with filters, editing tools and color manipulation. I just love how a simple photograph can be so transformed!

Step 4. Stay Tuned.
I will be on a traveling venture starting this Friday. From cornfields to soft sand beaches you might be bombarded with the beauty of life. Cannot wait to share my views!
